Treatment in our clinic
On your first day we will perform the dental treatment so that, if any additional adjustments are needed, they can be scheduled in the next few days while you are in the country. Lamicq Dental Care is located in San Francisco de Dos Rios, just 40 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from downtown San Jose.
Arrival at the Cloud Forest
Today you will arrive in Monteverde either by rental car, bus or shuttle. Optionally, we can take care of your arrival! Check-in is from 2 p.m., so you can settle in comfortably. Don't forget to bring long pants and a sweater for the evening, as it can get cold in the mountains.
Suspension bridges and butterflies
Depending on your preference, we can adjust the tour schedule. A shuttle will pick you up at your accommodation half an hour before the tour starts. You will visit the hanging bridges of Monteverde, built with solidity and of different lengths, connecting a 3 km route. Here you will have a unique view of the cloud forest and, in the morning tours, you will be able to see a Quetzal.
Coffee and more
Today you will visit the Don Juan plantation, a true highlight in Monteverde. Depending on your interests, a staff member will explain the characteristics of the growing area, the origin of coffee and its history in Costa Rica, as well as its influence on socio-cultural development. You will see the life cycle of the plant, from the green and red fruits to drying, roasting and tasting.
