Treatment in our clinic
On your first day we will perform the dental treatment so that, if any additional adjustments are needed, they can be scheduled in the next few days while you are in the country. Lamicq Dental Care is located in San Francisco de Dos Rios, just 40 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from downtown San Jose.
Arenal Volcano and La Fortuna
After arriving in La Fortuna and checking in, you can enjoy the hotel's facilities: relax in the swimming pool or Jacuzzi or, for a supplement, enjoy the hotel's spa. A day full of discoveries awaits you tomorrow. Optionally, we can also organize your transfer to La Fortuna.
Zipline, Arenal Volcano & Hot Springs
You will depart with other travelers to La Fortuna waterfall. You will receive the necessary equipment and, after seeing the Pino Blanco waterfall, you will slide down seven steel cables through the jungle, over canyons and past the waterfall. After lunch, you will explore Arenal Volcano, walking over lava rocks and looking for birds, monkeys and sloths. You will finish at Paradise Hot Springs, where you will enjoy dinner.
Free day
Today is a free day to relax at your hotel or do optional activities in Arenal at an additional cost. Some of the best recommended excursions are: the Tenorio National Park Tour, the Deer Caves, the Hanging Bridges, the Safari Float on the Peñas Blancas River and the La Fortuna Waterfall.
La Fortuna and Manuel Antonio
After a delicious breakfast, today you will continue your journey by shuttle. The ride is a little longer, approximately five hours, but there will be a short stop along the way. You will cross the Tárcoles River, famous for hosting one of the largest populations of American crocodiles (Crocodylus acutus) in the Americas. Your destination is the lively coastal town of Manuel Antonio, located next to the national park of the same name.
Ocean Kayaking
This morning you will head out to sea. You will be picked up at the hotel and, together with other travelers and the guide, you will kayak for a little over an hour around the small islands near Manuel Antonio. At Biesanz Bay, a beautiful hidden bay, you will take a short break and enjoy a tropical snack. Here you can snorkel, with the possibility of seeing parrot fish, starfish, angelfish and maybe a sea turtle. Afterwards, you will return to the dock by kayak, keeping your eyes open for animals in the air and in the water.
Return to San José
