Treatment in our clinic
On your first day we will perform the dental treatment so that, if any additional adjustments are needed, they can be scheduled in the next few days while you are in the country. Lamicq Dental Care is located in San Francisco de Dos Rios, just 40 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from downtown San Jose.
Arrival in the Northern Caribbean
If you are staying in San Jose, the day starts with hotel pick-up. As this is not possible at all accommodations, please ask for the meeting point. We will cross the impressive Braulio Carrillo National Park to Guápiles. From there, you will take a covered boat for a one to two hour ride to the lodge. Upon arrival, you will receive an introduction and in the afternoon you will take a tour of the botanical garden.
Tortuguero National Park
Breakfast starts early, but it is not necessary to be there at 7 a.m. For early risers, there is an optional tour at 6 a.m. to see the sunrise in the jungle. At 8:30 a.m. you start the boat tour in Tortuguero, where you will observe monkeys, caimans and birds, while the guide explains about the fauna and vegetation. From July to September, you can take a night tour to see turtles laying eggs.
Return to San José
The buffet breakfast will be open again from 7 am. Then you will check out and board the lodge boat around 9 am, which will take you back to the port. The transfer from the lodge will take you back to Guapiles for lunch. The package ends here or in the capital, San Jose.
