Treatment in our clinic
On your first day we will perform the dental treatment so that, if any additional adjustments are needed, they can be scheduled in the next few days while you are in the country. Lamicq Dental Care is located in San Francisco de Dos Rios, just 40 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from downtown San Jose.
Arrival at Drake Bay
This morning you will be expected around 10:30 am in the small town of Sierpe. Optionally, we can arrange a transfer to the meeting point. By speedboat we will travel along the Sierpe River towards the estuary, where you will see mangroves on both sides and sometimes scarlet macaws flying or monkeys climbing. Then we will head out to the open sea and along the coast to Drake Bay.
Snorkeling in Caño Island
An incredible snorkeling tour in the famous Caño Island, one of the best places to snorkel in Costa Rica. At 7 am we leave by boat. The island is usually seen from Drake Bay, and dolphins usually accompany us during the trip, and even whales, depending on the season. There are two snorkeling stops around the island, where you will see parrot fish, turtles, rays and sometimes reef sharks.
Night in Corcovado National Park
The day starts before 6 a.m. with breakfast, as the boat ride to La Sirena Station in Corcovado National Park takes more than an hour. You will only carry what you need in your backpack. During the boat ride you will enjoy the solitary coastal scenery. In La Sirena, you will walk along the “Espaveles” and “Sirena” trails with a guide. After lunch, you will go to the Rio Claro trail for a swim.
Animal observation and return to Drake Bay.
You will head to the mouth of the Sirena River to enjoy a solitary and dreamy sunrise. Here you will observe crocodiles, aquatic birds, fish and listen to the sound of the sea. After this tour, you will enjoy breakfast at the station before heading to the El Pavo trail, where you will see animals such as pumas, coatis and tapirs. At noon, you will return to Drake Bay by boat, an unforgettable experience!
Return to Sierpe
A last breakfast awaits you at Drake Bay, and then the boat will depart shortly after 7 a.m. By 9 a.m. at the latest you will be back in Sierpe, where your Corcovado adventure ends. And what's next?
