DENTAL PROSTHESIS
FIXED DENTAL PROSTHESIS
- Crowns or fixed bridges: They are used to restore one or several teeth. They are placed over the previously ground teeth, being their only support.
- Fixed prosthesis on implants: A prosthetic structure fixed by means of screws on implants that have been previously placed inside the maxillary bones.
- Hybrid prostheses on implants: Some prostheses combine implant fixation with the mucosal surface of the gingiva to fit the prosthesis.
REMOVABLE DENTAL PROSTHESIS
- Removable dental prostheses: They can be removed by the patient himself. They are the most chosen option for people who are unable to undergo the placement of dental implants.
- Removable complete dentures: They cover the entire bone crest, that is, the bone where the natural teeth were previously located.
- Removable partial prosthesis: If the patient has an edentulous oral area, but still retains some teeth of the arch, it can be used.
